It is absolutely beautiful to see what is shaking up in the world of specialty coffee. When it comes to providing consumers with clarity and so much more perspective than the past in regards to coffee traceability, the time we are in has never been brighter.
For Chandler, Arizona based company, Peixoto Coffee Roasters, they are doing just that. Striving to eliminate any middlemen between crop to cup, and bringing direct trade coffee to you. As for today’s coffee we are talking about, the Brazil Peixoto, this is a coffee that that is produced and harvested by José Augusto Peixoto on the company’s family farm: Fazenda São José da Boa Vista. Residing in the beautiful region of Alta Mogiana, the Brazil Peixoto is a natural processed yellow catucai.
This Brazilian lot coffee absolutely blew me away with its taste notes and textures! The characteristics in the Brazil Peixoto pop with notes of macadamia nut, smooth peanut butter, and silky hazelnut. It is rare for me to prefer a coffee that possesses nutty flavors, but this coffee is hands down one that I would drink over and over again, while savoring it!
If you have the chance to try Peixoto Coffee, I HIGHLY suggest you choose this coffee! Pure bliss in a cup is the best way I can describe this coffee. Keep up the vision and work Peixoto!
Until next week friends, stay fly and caffeinated.
