In this week’s EmmMeetsCoffee installment, we’re talking about a coffee that traces its origins to Dominican Republic: Barahona. It is of the typica variety, washed processed, and produced by the Ramirez family.

When brewing the coffee on the Hario V60 and finishing the pour over at 2:49, with a grind setting of 17 on the Baratza Virtuoso, I got a wonderfully balanced coffee. Taste notes include fresh orange peel and floral essences of chamomile. Overall, this is a medium-bodied coffee that possesses a smooth mouth feel at the finish.
